To use these flashcards you would print, and fold them like a sandwich so that the document is front to back. After I suggest that you laminate them for long-term use.

These Sound flashcards are intended to develop word lists for phonics and spelling instruction. These flashcards will provide students with various ways the long and short vowel sounds are spelled and will also provide an extensive list of words for instruction. The words on the flashcards are composed of 95% one-syllable words but the list of words can grow to include multi-syllable words for advanced and older students. These cards can be used to help students actively engage in activities such as word sorts (open, closed, or timed,) and word building.
